One of the regualr question from our clients is if there are recommendations or advice from our side before and after the wax hair removal.

Advice prior to waxing on the day of treatment:
Do not swim or soak in the bath.
Do not sunbathe or use a sunbed.
Do not use oils or moisturisers on the areas to be treated.
Keep make-up to a minimum if facial waxing is to be carried out.
Do no exercise vigorously.
Do not bleach facial hair if it is to be waxed. previously bleached hair, when waxed, tend to break off at skin level.
WAXING Aftercare Advice:
Your skin will be temporarily sensitive after waxing. The following measures should be observed for 24 hours after treatment. This will reduce the risk of irritation.
Avoid hot baths and other heat treatments. Have only lukewarm showers and baths, preferably not until 8 hours after the treatment.
Do not use perfumed lotions on the treated skin.
Do not sunbathe or use a sun bed.
Avoid touching and scratching the treated area.
Do not use talcum powder, anti-perspirants or deodorants on the treated area.
Avoid wearing tight clothing as this may irritate the treated area.
Avoid swimming in chlorinated water.
Avoid applying make-up over the area.
Avoid gardening - which could introduce dirt into the treated skin.
Avoid sports activities, e.g. jogging, aerobics etc.
Other advice:
Apply after wax lotion to soothe skin.
Moisturize and exfoliate skin between treatments to reduce the risk of in-growing hairs.
If irritation persists or infection occurs you are advised to contact your Doctor.
