Manual Lymphatic Drainage also known as MLD is a specialised type of massage treatment. Purpose of this massage is to drain out the excessive fluid build up in the lymphatic system.
As you may already be aware that lymphatic system in our body is a network of organs, vessels and tissues that work together to move a colourless, watery fluid (lymph) back into the circulatory system (bloodstream).
This movement of fluid within the body protects us from infections and helps to destroy no longer functional cells.
